Dari Ide Berbuah Kesuksesan
Sejatinya membuka suatu usaha, selain harus memiliki keterampilan dan pengalaman berharga, tentunya juga diperlukan modal yang tidak sedikit, apalagi bila usaha yang ingin dijalankan itu adalah usaha yang berkelas alias ternama dan berharga tinggi. Namun semua rumus itu tidak berlaku bagi Hendra H Japar, pasalnya pria kelahiran Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan 27 Januari 1975 ini hanya bermodalkan ide dan keberanian saja untuk bisa membuka sebuah usaha dan terbukti bisa sukses dan memiliki harga jual. Bagaimana ceritanya?
Setelah pensiun menjadi lurah, anak kedelapan dari 17 bersaudara ini sempat bingung ingin usaha apa, beberapa usaha kecil-kecilpun sempat ia lakonin untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup keluarganya. “Maklum, uang pensiunan dari lurah tidak seberapa tidak sebanding dengan harga barang saat ini,”ujarnya.
Setelah pensiun, saya sempat membuka usaha kecil-kecilan. Saya pernah jual pempek, kain, dll.” Terangnya kendati demikian, semangatnya untuk memiliki usaha yang lebih besar terus membara. Semua surat kabar dan informasi yang terkait dengan peluang usaha dia lahap untuk dibaca meskipun tempat tinggalnya berada di Tebing Wulung, sebuah desa terpencil 32 km dari kota Palembang. Sampai akhirnya matanya tertahan ketika membaca salah satu bisnis waralaba bimbingan belajar asal Palembang. ”Waktu itu saya sedang mencari-cari informasi usaha waralaba di surat kabar lokal. Ketika saya membaca konsep yang ditawarkan franchise GSC saya langsung tertarik," kenangnya.
Selanjutnya, Hendrapun tidak mau membuang waktu. Semua info tentang GSC dari media massa dia kumpulkan untuk dikliping. Belum puas dengan semua informasi itu, diapun langsung mendatangi kantor pusat GSC di Palembang untuk sekedar memastikan. Dirinya semakin yakin setelah mendengar semua konsep usaha yang disampaikan pihak manajemen franchise GSC.
Diakui Hendra, dirinya sangat tertarik dengan bisnis franchise. Lantaran sistem dan manajemennya sudah jadi. Namun, dirinya tidak mempunyai dana yang cukup untuk membeli franchise harga merek ternama di Palembang tersebut. Meskipun demikian, suami Yuyun ini tidak patah semangat. Hendrapun bergegas mencari penanam saham yang mau diajak kerjasama untuk membeli bisnis franchise tersebut. Saya yakin dengan usaha waralaba ini. Karena sistem dan manajemennya sudah ada, jadi tinggal kitanya saja yang menjalankan secara sungguh-sungguh,”kata Ayah tiga anak ini.
